Do you wonder what they are thinking behind those eyes so true,
As they sit there staring into the sky so blue.
Do they think about the future and all the days gone by,
Or do they live within the minute as not to lose a one?
I guess that's really the only way to have lots of fun.
What secrets do they keep wishing they could tell,
I am sure there are so many, but they are not theirs to sell.
Do they wonder about the world and where it would be,
If all God's creatures could get along and all could be free.
With mischief and intelligence I am sure they hold the key,
To all the things that puzzle you and me.
I wonder what they think with eyes so clear and true,
I am sure they are saying
I LOVE YOU.
